Solana Beach School District - Serves grades K-6 in the City of Solana Beach, the Carmel Valley and Del Mar Heights areas east of I-5, and the western edge of Rancho Santa Fe. Below is a list of schools in the district. Click here for the district attendance boundary map.
Elementary Schools
Solana Vista Elementary School - Grades K-3 in the City of Solana Beach.
Skyline School - Grades 4-6 in the City of Solana Beach.
Carmel Creek School - Grades K-4 in Carmel Valley.
Solana Highlands Elementary School - Grades K-4 in Del Mar Heights east of I-5.
Solana Pacific School - Grades 5-6 in Carmel Valley.
Solana Santa Fe School - Grades K-6 in the western part of Rancho Santa Fe.
San Dieguito Union School District - Serves grades 7-12 in the City of Solana Beach, City of Del Mar, City of Encinitas (including the communities of Encinitas, Leucadia, Cardiff and Olivenhain), Rancho Santa Fe, and the Carmel Valley and Del Mar Heights areas east of I-5. Middle Schools
Earl Warren Middle School - Grades 7-8 for the City of Solana Beach and City of Del Mar.
Carmel Valley Middle School - Grades 7-8 in Carmel Valley.
Diegueno Middle School - Grades 7-8 in the eastern area of Encinitas, part of southeastern Carlsbad (La Costa), most of Leucadia and part of Cardiff.
Oak Crest Middle School - Grades 7-8 for Cardiff and much of Encintias.
High Schools
Torrey Pines High School - Grades 9-12 for the City of Solana Beach, City of Del Mar, and most of Rancho Santa Fe.
La Costa Canyon High School - Grades 9-12 for the City of Encinitas (including Cardiff) and a part of Rancho Santa Fe.
Sunset Continuation High School - An alternative education program for 16-18 year olds. Located in Encinitas and serving the entire district.
San Dieguito High School Academy - Home of district adult education programs. All students are geographically in either the Torrey Pines or La Costa Canyon boundaries - however all district students have the option of enrolling at San Dieguito if they choose.
North Coast Alternative High School - An independent study program for high school teens seeking individualized attention and flexible scheduling.
